RULES:
Targets:  5V targets at 200 yards
Vintage Rifle - any center fire rifle with open sights (not match sights) that was designed fifty or more years ago. 
A Winchester model 70 could not be in 308 caliber with match sights
Course of fire:  40 rounds for record. Followed NRA High Power Sproting Rifle rules as follows.
First course:  Prone, slow fire, with 2 sighters, then 10 rounds for record in 12 minutes
Second course:  Standing to prone, rapid fire, one string of 2&8 rounds or 5&5 rounds in 60 seconds (or 5+1+1+1+1+1)
Third course: Standing to sitting, rapid fire, one string of 2&8 rounds or 5&5 rounds in 60 seconds (or 5+1+1+1+1+1)
Fourth course: Standing, slow fire, with 10 rounds for record in 10 minutes.
Scoring:  Count the top 40 holes
CONDITIONS:
The temperature was around 50 deg. The wind blew the targets over often.
